Riski Ulhusen, Selected as the Mental Health of East Java Health Ambassadors 2024

Surabaya, March 3, 2024 – In an effort to continuously increase awareness and knowledge among the public regarding health, the East Java Health Ambassadors Association (Dukes East Java), under the auspices of the East Java Provincial Health Office, has successfully organized the East Java Health Ambassador Selection for the Year 2024. The event, held at the East Java Provincial Health Office, was attended by 140 participants from various districts in East Java, showcasing their potential and talents in the field of health.

The main objective of the Health Ambassador program is to identify and support individuals who have broad insights in both health and non-health-related fields, capable of representing their respective regions in various health-related forums. This program also aims to increase health knowledge, communication skills, and awareness of the importance of health among the general public, as well as facilitate networking among participants.

From the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Brawijaya University (Fapet UB), emerged a talented candidate named Riski Ulhusen, class of 2022, who managed to capture the attention of the judges and other participants. Through a series of rigorous selections, Riski made it to the top 9, showcasing his commitment to mental health. His adeptness in facing various challenges and competitions led to him being crowned as the Prince of Mental Health of the East Java Health Ambassadors for 2024.

This achievement is not only a source of pride for Riski Ulhusen himself but also for the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Brawijaya University, demonstrating the contribution and dedication of students in raising awareness about mental health in East Java. The title he has earned is hoped to serve as a platform for Riski to contribute more widely in mental health advocacy and education, considering the significance of this issue in our society today.
