Faculty of Animal Science UB Invites PT. Global Dairi Alami and PT. Agrijaya Prima Success in Implementing the MBKM Program

The Independent Campus Learning Team (MBKM) of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) visited PT. Global Dairi Alami (PT. GDA) and PT. Agrijaya Prima Sukses (PT. APS), Thursday (11/5/2023). They consist of Rizki Prafitri, Ph.D., Eko Nugroho, Ph.D., Dr. Nanang Febrianto, and Puji Akhiroh, M.Sc.

Rizki said the purpose of the visit to the company which is engaged in the dairy farming industry in Subang, West Java was the exploration of a cooperation plan to support the running of the MBKM program. She expects the two companies are willing to provide opportunities for Fapet UB students to implement internship, research, and field work practices.

 Visit activities at PT. GDA is carried out by going around the dairy farm to see the milking process use a rotary system.Then judging a dairy factory production facility that produces fresh milk and UHT milk under the brand Milk Life.

“We are happy to be visited by a team of lecturers from the Faculty of Animal Science UB so we can get to know each other, exchange insight and knowledge. In the future we are ready to provide a place for Fapet UB students to carry out the MBKM program here.” said drh. Vincent as the head of the farm

Meanwhile a visit to PT. APS was welcomed by HRD, Putri Aulia Nursafitri. He said that currently PT. APS maintains approximately 3,000 head of cattle and 400 of them are of the Jersey variety imported from Australia. Fresh milk production at PT APS is sold to dairy processing industries such as Indolakto.
