Faculty of Animal Science Universitas Brawijaya Establishes a Strategic Partnership with ES55 BEE HEALTH

Animal Science Universitas Brawijaya (UB) took a strategic step to enhance the quality and application of animal husbandry sciences on January 9, 2024. On Thursday, the UB Faculty of Animal Science signed a collaboration agreement with ES55 BEE HEALTH, a prominent player in the bee-based products industry. The agreement was formalized by Prof. Dr. Ir. M. Halim Natsir, S.Pt., MP., IPM., ASEAN Eng., Dean of the Faculty, accompanied by Dr. Ir. Agus Susilo, S.Pt., MP., IPM., ASEAN Eng., Vice Dean II.

This collaboration aims to bring mutual benefits to both the UB Faculty of Animal Science and ES55 BEE HEALTH. Celebi, the CEO, has long been recognized as a pioneer in developing high-value bee-based products.

Prof. Dr. Ir. M. Halim Natsir, S.Pt., MP., IPM., ASEAN Eng., Dean of the Faculty of Animal Science UB, emphasized, “This collaboration goes beyond a mere partnership between academia and industry; it represents an effort to foster innovation, research, and development in animal husbandry, particularly in bee-based products.”

Meanwhile, Emrah Celebi, the owner of ES55 BEE HEALTH, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership. “We are truly excited about collaborating with the UB Faculty of Animal Science. By merging academic knowledge with industry expertise, we believe we can develop innovative products that will positively impact society and the livestock industry,” he stated.

Dr. Ir. Agus Susilo, S.Pt., MP., IPM., ASEAN Eng., Vice Dean for General Affairs, Finance, and Resources, added, “This partnership encompasses various facets, ranging from joint research to training and technology development. We aim to leverage all available potentials for mutual advancement.”

The collaboration between the UB Faculty of Animal Husbandry and ES55 BEE HEALTH is anticipated to initiate significant innovations and improve the quality of bee-based products. With full support from both parties, it is expected to make a substantial contribution to the advancement of the livestock industry and community welfare.
