Make UB a World-Class University Representatives of Fapet Lecturers Join the Post Doctoral Program

Dr. Herly Evanuarini, S.Pt., MP and Dr. Nanang Febrianto, S.Pt., MP as lecturer representatives of the Faculty of Animal Science Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) participated in a program post-doctoral at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Universitas Gadjah Mada. The activity lasted for four days, Tuesday – Friday (4-7/1/2022).

The postdoctoral program is a program from the Directorate General of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture to young doctors to improve their competence and insight in the field of doctoral studies. Through activities joint research and international publications with a senior mentor from partner universities abroad or participating in internships in the business world, industry, or other relevant international institutions.

Because a lecturer needs to carry out continuous professional development by conducting research, writing books and textbooks, scientific publications, and community service. In carrying out this development, lecturers need to build networks and collaborate with other scientists as well as the business world and industry to produce innovative works.

Besides, this lecturer self-development program is carried out by UB to create a World Class University (WCU) and create a conducive academic atmosphere, in order to create a close and sustainable collaboration in the form of joint research and publications. Where the results of the research will be very useful publication material in science. So that some of the indicators needed to improve the reputation of universities will be exceeded. (dta)
