Advanced Workshop on Compilation of Rubrics and Portfolios for the MK Master Program in Animal Science

The teaching team for courses in the Master Program (S2) of Animal Science Faculty of Animal Science Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) attended a workshop on compiling assessment rubrics and portfolios for each course Tuesday (4/5/2021 ). The activity which took place online was opened by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Sc. Gr. Ir. Suyadi, MS., IPU., ASEAN Eng.

While opening the event, he explained that postgraduate students could develop themselves with the insights and knowledge obtained at the undergraduate level so that the form of potential development is to focus students on journals, presentations, papers, and essays.

Previously, the team had carried out the first workshop in early April, resulting in four groups of assessment rubrics. Among other things, assessing scientific articles, assessing the presence, writing innovative ideas, and assessing group discussions.

Meanwhile Dr.Ir. Tri Eko Susilorini, MP., IPM., ASEAN Eng as the Head of the S2 Program said that the output of this activity is a semester learning plan (RPS), a portfolio rubric, and an assessment rubric, which can be used as a basis for filling out the portfolios of each lecturer and system. Currently, the Master Program in Animal Science is applying for international accreditation called the Agency for Quality Assurance AQAS to improve the quality of the study program and towards an internationally reputable Fapet. (dta)
