Competency Assessment for S1 Students in Poultry Farming Management Successfully Conducted at Fapet UB

Fapet UB successfully organized a competency assessment for S1 students in Independent Learning Independent Campus (MBKM) in the field of Poultry Farming Management. The event took place on Friday, February 23, 2024, starting from 08:30 to 20:00 WIB.

The competency assessment process involved ten S1 students who have prior MBKM experience. The series of activities consisted of written tests, interviews, and practical demonstrations. All stages of the competency assessment were led by the Chairman of TUK, Faizal Andri, S.Pt., M.Pt, accompanied by two assessors, namely Dr. Ir. Eko Widodo. M.Agr.Sc and Yuli Frita Nuningtyas, S.Pt., MP., M.Sc.

The main objective of this competency assessment process was to obtain official licensing from the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP) for two new schemes under Fapet UB, one of which is the occupational certification scheme for Poultry Farming Management. This certification is expected to enhance the qualifications and competitiveness of students in the job market.

Faizal Andri, Chairman of TUK, expressed satisfaction with the smoothness of the event and the readiness of the students to participate in the entire competency assessment process. He also emphasized the importance of the Poultry Farming Management competency certification as a career booster in the livestock industry.

With the conclusion of this competency assessment, it is hoped that students will be able to obtain competency certificates that will add value to their competitiveness in the job market, as well as elevate the quality standards of human resources in the livestock sector. (MT)
