Deanery and the boards of Faculty of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry of Sultan Syarif Kasim Islamic State University Riau visited Faculty of Animal Husbandry of University of Brawijaya, Friday (30/Sep/2016). The visit was in order to follow up academic partnership agreed by both parties since April this year. The partnership was including education and research program, lecturer assistance (guest lecturer), student exchange, credit earning/transfer, visitation and comparative study, field practice.
The entourage consisted of Edi Erwan, S.Pt, M.Sc, PhD (Dean), Dewi Anandia Mucra, S.Pt., M.P (Head of Study Program of Animal Husbandry), Irsyadi Siradjuddin, S.P., M.Si (Secretary of Study Program of Agro-technology) and Azmiati, S.Ag (Head of Sub Division of Academic, Studentship and Alumni). Located at Deanery’s meeting room, they were welcomed by Prof. Dr.Sc.Agr. Ir. Suyadi, MS (Dean) and Dr. Ir. Lilik Eka Radiati, MS (Vice Dean I) of Faculty of Animal Husbandry of University of Brawijaya.
The recent meeting discussed about credit recognition semester event or commonly known as semester recognition credit, at which FPP-UIN Suska will delegate its students to join in a lecture at Faculty of Animal Husbandry of University of Brawijaya for a semester. But previously needed a curriculum structure analysis or types of courses to be synchronized with proper material, thus could formulate standardization quality and learning process.
Suyadi explained that students are in fourth and fifth semester level prior to specialization. They will join in teaching and learning process which including practicum, assignment and class lecture with 18-20 numbers of semester credits. It aims to know students’ capability and skill. In addition, it is also used as a benchmark on learning context, practicum system, assignment and assessment at Faculty of Animal Husbandry of University of Brawijaya.
