Written Test and Interview of Prospective Students of the Master of Animal Science Study Program, Fapet UB

Masters Study Program (S2) of Animal Science Faculty of Animal Science Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) conducted a written test and interview for new wave II prospective students, Saturday (5/6/2021). Taking place online, the selection exam was attended by 7 participants who were alumni of various universities. Among them are Petra Christian University Surabaya, Cokroaminoto Palopo University, Andalas University, and Brawijaya University.

Dr.Ir opened the event. Tri Eko Susilorini, MP.,IPM.,ASEAN Eng as the Head of the Master’s Study Program. She said that the admission system for the master program at Fapet UB has several routes, namely regular A, regular B (for employee class), accelerated/fast track program (acceleration program for 7th-semester undergraduate students who meet the requirements), and double degree (study at the university). UB and overseas universities so that they get two degrees at once).

“Lectures in the odd semester of TA. In 2021/2022, the master class will have more students because it coincides with acceleration program students,” said Icus (Dr. Tri Eko Susilorini’s nickname)

“But the face-to-face lecture system will still be closed by the leadership according to the Decree of the Minister and UB Chancellor.” he continued.

Meanwhile, Vice Dean I, Prof.Dr.M. Halim Natsir, S.Pt.,MP.,IPM.,ASEAN Eng, in his speech, said that S2 students could graduate on time, which is two years, as well as in the second semester can be involved in lecturer research projects through doctoral grants. So that students are more active in writing journals and research, it is different when they become scholars who get more theory.
