ICIAS 2022 International Seminar Discusses the Prospects and Challenges of Animal Husbandry

The Student Activity Unit (UKM) of the Student Scientific Group (KIM) is holding an international seminar called the International Conference on Innovation of Animal Science (ICIAS), Sunday (4/12/2022). The theme raised is the Transformation of Livestock Prospect and Challenge: “The Past and The Future”. Located in the auditorium on the 8th floor of Gd.V, the activity was attended by 136 students from various universities.

The invited speakers came from foreign universities, including Dr. Mamat Hamidi Kamalludin (Malaysia Men’s University – Malaysia), Dr. MD Al Mamum, Ph.D (Chonnam National University – South Korea), Mrs. Anneke (Kangwon National University – South Korea), and Aldyon Restu Azkarahman, M.Sc (University of Reading – United Kingdom). The areas of discussion offered include animal science production, animal science reproduction, animal science feed and nutrition, animal science product technology, and animal science socio-economic.

The series of events began with a presentation of material by the keynote speakers, then a parallel session. The results of the participant’s paper will be published free of charge in the proceeding book indexed by ISBN. 

KIM is one of the UKM in the Faculty of Animal Science, Universitas Brawijaya. This student organization accommodates interests and talents in the field of scientific writing. (dta)
