External Scientific Safari as a Place to Exchange Cultures and Share Experiences in Organizations

The student activity unit named The Student Scientific Group (KIM) of the Faculty of Animal Science, Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) conducted an external scientific safari activity, Saturday (16/7/2022).  Taking place online time they visited the Animal Husbandry Student Study Forum (Fosmapet) of Gadjah Mada University (UGM).

The theme of the activity was “Building Relationships and Developing a Productive Generation with Scientific Authorship”. Meanwhile, the material presented was about the ins and outs of the organization, as well as providing tips on tricks and motivation so that participants achieved achievements and were active in scientific writing competitions.

The material was delivered by Ahmad Fahrudin Husen, Firmansyah Budi P., Akhmad Faizal, and Sularso as presenters representing KIM. While Fosmapet is represented by Yudha Mahatma Putra, Putri Lidya Melati, Idham Bachtiar, and Jason Siregar.

Ahmad Fahrudin said that even though the delivery of the material was online, he hoped that the participants would still feel the comfort that would be beneficial for the organization and increase motivation to organize and work.

External scientific safari is one of KIM’s work programs that visit SMEs from outside the university to exchange information. Starting from the culture, and work program, to experience in organizational management. So that in addition to strengthening the relationship, this activity is useful for sharing knowledge and insights as well as supporting the work programs of each organization.  (dta)
