RG Red Meat Producers Plans to Continue Collaboration with BBIB Singosari for BDo the Saanen Goat Semen

 Research Group Red Meat Producers, Faculty of Animal Science, Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) in collaboration with Center for Artificial Insemination (BBIB) Singosari in the field of freezing saanen goat semen. The research was carried out by students of the Master of Animal Science program in the Faculty of Animal Science UB.

Research result was presented by a member of RG Red Meat Producers, Prof. Trinil Susilawati and Aulia Puspita Anugra Yekti, M.P., M.Sc., at BBIB Singosari, Monday (10/4/2023). Witnessed by the leadership of BBIB, Drh. Akbar, MP, Prof. Trinil said that in the future he and his team will develop sexing technology that has been produced by BBIB Singosari. So there is a need for research collaboration and follow-up making a cooperation agreement with details of the activities to be carried out. Besides that, the research will also involve undergraduate and master program students of Faculty of Animal Science UB.

Previously, RG Red Meat Producers and BBIB Singosari had collaborated on semen sexing. Its implementation is carried out inRegency Tuban for beef cattle, and in Pujon District, Malang Regency for dairy cows. Activities have been carried out from 2017 to 2022.(TS/dta)
