Interest

Students at the Faculty of Animal Science, Brawijaya University, have the opportunity to choose a specialization that suits their interests and talents. This specialization is designed to deepen knowledge and skills in certain areas, such as livestock production, nutrition and feed, genetics and breeding, and livestock management. With the right specialization, students can focus more on career development and research that suits their passion. Students can specialize at the end of semester 4 by taking part in the specialization selection. Students fill out the interest form by attaching the required requirements. The animal husbandry department unit will make a selection based on the student’s academic potential seen from the student’s course grades for each interest. The selection process is carried out by ranking students’ final results for each interest. Interests that can be chosen for students’ final assignments include:

2. Animal Nutrition and Forage
3. Socioeconomics of Animal Husbandry
4. Animal Products Technology
5. Livestock Breeding and Reproduction

Thesis Preparation

The process of preparing a thesis at the Faculty of Animal Science, Brawijaya University, begins with selecting a research topic that is relevant and in line with the student’s interests. Students must conduct a literature review, design a research methodology, and prepare a proposal that will be approved by the academic advisor. Guides and guidelines for writing a thesis are available to help students at every stage, from data collection to writing the final report. Thesis Guidance

Thesis supervision is an integral part of the academic process at the Faculty of Animal Science, Brawijaya University. Each student will be guided by lecturers who are experts in the field appropriate to the research topic. The supervisor will provide direction, guidance and regular evaluation to ensure the research goes well and according to plan. Effective communication between students and supervisors is very important to achieve optimal results.

Thesis examination

The thesis examination is the final stage in the thesis preparation process at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Brawijaya University. After the thesis has been written and approved by the supervisor, the student must present the results of his research to the board of examiners. This exam aims to evaluate students’ understanding of the topic being researched, as well as their ability to convey and defend scientific arguments. The results of the thesis examination will determine student graduation and their eligibility to obtain a bachelor’s degree.
