Curriculum Bachelor of Animal Science

The Animal Husbandry Study Program, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Brawijaya University formulates learning outcomes based on the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI). Bachelor of Animal Husbandry graduates are expected to be able to apply knowledge and technical skills that support the profile of a Bachelor of Animal Husbandry as an applicator of knowledge, manager, entrepreneur and community leader with good communication skills and lifelong learning.

The Bachelor of Animal Husbandry competencies formulated in the learning outcomes table emphasize:

Key competencies (basic and technical abilities).
Supporting competencies (mastering information technology and having good behavior).

The main competencies include basic science (natural and social knowledge) and technical knowledge (animal science, breeding, feeding, management, handling livestock products, socio-economics). Supporting competencies include proficiency in informatics techniques, writing reports and presentations, communication and entrepreneurial skills, as well as problem solving in the livestock sector.

Graduates also have the ability to reach master’s and doctoral levels or work at research institutions.
