Academic Advisor Services
Students can utilize the services of an Academic Advisor (AA), a lecturer ready to assist in their academic journey. Here are the services and support you can get from an AA:
Academic Advisor Services
- Facilities Information: The AA provides information about facilities that can support students’ academic and non-academic activities.
- Academic Assistance: The AA is ready to help address any academic issues students may face.
- Study Habit Development: The AA guides students in developing good study habits and attitudes, enabling them to study independently.
- Learning Success Recommendations: The AA provides recommendations regarding the students’ learning success for various purposes.
- Personality Development: The AA helps students develop their personalities in accordance with religious values, Pancasila, and customs.
- Lifelong Scientific Insight: The AA helps students develop lifelong independent learning insights.
- Academic Evaluation: The AA issues a warning if your GPA is below 2 or if the credits achieved are less than 20 over two consecutive semesters.
Academic Registration Process
During the academic registration process at the beginning of each semester, the AA will assist students with:
- Checking KRS: The AA checks the accuracy of KRS (Study Plan Card) completion and is responsible for its content.
- Determining Credit Load: The AA sets the number of credits a student may take in the relevant semester.
- Approving Study Plan: The AA examines and approves the study plan students have prepared in their KRS.
- Explaining Study Load: The AA provides explanations regarding the decision on the study load so that you understand and accept the decision.
Coordination and Administration
- Assistance from Other Units: The AA can request assistance from other work units, such as Guidance and Counseling, for advisement.
- Academic Activity Coordination: Academic activities are coordinated by the Vice Dean 1, and non-academic activities by the Vice Dean 3.
- Code of Ethics: The AA always pays attention to the Campus Life Code of Ethics.
- Administration: The AA manages various lists and cards, including:
- List of student names, attendance lists for lectures, and exam score lists.
- KRS, KPRS, KHS, and KPAM.
