Strengthening BEM’s Relationship with UKM and Community through “Dialog Kandang”

Faculty of Animal Science Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) has a Student Sovereignty Institute (LKM) and a Student Activity Unit (UKM). LKM is a student government organization that has the authority to formulate policies and act as a mouthpiece for students. It consists of the Student Representative Council (MPM), the Student Representative Council (DPM), and the Student Executive Board (BEM).

Meanwhile, UKM are units that accommodate the development of student interests and talents. Such as scientific writing, sports, music, theater, entrepreneurship, English language skills, and spirituality.

In order to strengthen the relationship between student organizations within Fapet UB, BEM held a cage dialogue, Saturday (9/4/2022). Namely a workshop that facilitates all SMEs and communities to convey the design and implementation of their respective work programs. Besides that, this event is also used to convey aspirations, complaints, and uneg-uneg. Then BEM members are tasked with submitting complaints or suggestions to the Dean. (dta)
