Release of Candidates for Haj Pilgrims, Fapet UB Residents 2023

The Dean of the Faculty of Animal Science Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) released the 2023 Hajj pilgrims, Monday (12/6/2023). Taking place at the Al A’raaf Mosque, the event was attended by lecturers, prospective pilgrims, lecturers, education staff, students,and Dharma Wanita representatives. 

There are three Fapet residents who will go on pilgrimage, namely retired Dr. Agus Budiarto and his wife and Dr. Imam Thohari. In his remarks, the dean prayed for the pilgrims to leave and return to their homeland in good health, and for a mabrur pilgrimage.

Then Agus and the Imam alternately apologized to the invited participants for all mistakes made, whether intentional or not. They also ask for blessings and prayers for health and safety.

On this occasion was Prof. Sasmito Djati (former UB Vice Rector for Cooperation) who gave the lecture. He said that humans have a record of good deeds every day but these practices will be erased one by one because of the bad deeds they have done. Therefore we as human beings who are pious and have faith in Allah should continue to increase good deeds by carrying out His commands. If you do a bad deed, immediately ask for forgiveness by saying atonement as much.
