IASC IX Committee Coordinates with Vice Dean and Alumni Prepare International Speaker

Student Scientific Group (KIM) Faculty of Animal Science Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) has a work program to organize a national scientific writing competition called the Innovation of Animal Science Competition (IASC). Namely, a competition for students and college students who accommodate research results contribute creative and innovative thinking through writing competitions.

The IASC has been held regularly every year since 2014. This time it is entering its ninth year, which will be held on 3 June 2022—carrying the theme “Innovation and Strategy Through Generation Z’s Contribution in Livestock Integration to Realize SDGs 2045”.

According to the direction of the Dean during the coordination of preparations some time ago, the committee is preparing to bring in speakers from abroad for a series of seminars. Therefore, they held a follow-up coordination meeting with the deputy dean III, Dr. Agus Susilo, and M. Muchlas (alumni currently pursuing further studies in Korea) on Saturday (19/3/2022). First, the meeting discussed the preparation of the TOR for the activity, then Muchlas would be the facilitator of contact for the prospective presenters.

“I hope that the committee will continue to be enthusiastic in preparing for this big event. Hopefully, the output of this activity can produce integrated innovations in the livestock sector and increase the accreditation of Fapet UB,” said Dr. Agus (dta)
