The Faculty of Animal Science at Universitas Brawijaya (FAS UB) has conducted a Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) session for the Integrity Zone initiative that has been implemented. The event was attended by the Integrity Zone Team of the Faculty of Animal Science UB and the UB Integrity Zone Team, led by Ngesti Dwi Prasetyo S.H., M.Hum.
In his opening remarks, Mr. Ngesti stated, “The year 2023 was the phase of declaration for UB in developing the Integrity Zone, and in 2024, we have entered the construction phase of the IZ.” He also emphasized the implementation of two main programs, the first being the integrity zone started in 2023 in collaboration with the Directorate General of Higher Education and the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform, and the second, the strengthening of the ecosystem integrity program in collaboration with the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
Prof. Halim Sekalu, Dean of the Faculty of Animal Science UB, added that the integrity zone is crucial for enhancing service quality. “Currently, we are focusing on the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) for the first and second quarters, which has successfully achieved an ‘A’ rating. We have also implemented a paperless system,” said Prof. Halim. He mentioned that the Faculty of Agricultural Technology (FAT) serves as a role model for implementing the Integrity Zone within the faculty environment.
During the event, all faculty and academic staff were urged to consistently document all managerial and academic activities. This initiative aims to address shortcomings and enhance the implementation of the Integrity Zone at the Faculty of Animal Science UB. The Monev activities are expected to bring positive changes and improve integrity and academic services at the university. mt
