Get to know the Animal Husbandry Study ProgramAl Mizan Jatiwangi Islamic High School Visits Fapet UB

Students of class X, XI, XIIAl Mizan Jatiwangi Islamic High School, Majalengka Regency – West Java conducted an excursion study to the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB), Monday (6/3/2023). The aim is to introduce students to the world of lectures, especially in the field of animal husbandry and entrepreneurship.

Taking place in the seminar room on the 5th floor of Gd.V they were welcomed by Prof. M. Halim Natsir as Dean. He said that graduating from Fapet does not mean becoming a cattle, goat, chicken or duck breeder in the traditional way. Instead, learn about renewable technologies so that they can create innovations in farming. Besides that, they also study genetics, reproduction, feed, to the processing of livestock products and sales strategies.

Then to introduce more deeply about the programs offered to the facilities, the Faculty profile presentation was continued by Wike Andre Septian, M.Sc. Currently, Faculty of Animal Husbandry UB has five interests, including livestock production, livestock reproduction and breeding, livestock socio-economics, nutrition and animal feed, and livestock product technology. While the learning support facilities are laboratories, field laboratories, teaching farms, and entrepreneur teaching centers. (dta)
