Animal Science’s Students Participate in MBKM Independent Study

Students of the Faculty of Animal Science Universitas Brawijaya, Ferdiansyah Ersatiyo participate in independent study activities organized by the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture. Supervised by lecturer Dr. Dedes Amertaningtyas, S.Pt.,MP, he took the “Artificial Intelligence for Gen Y” program.

Namely, artificial intelligence for students from all sectors and diverse interests, using a deep learning and project-based approach.

The activity lasts for six months, from August 2021 to February 2022 online. By learning the introduction of AI, Python programming and the AI ​​Project Cycle (Problem Scoping, Data Acquisition, Data Exploration, Modeling, Evaluation and Deployment).courses Life Skills needed in the company’s success.

Independent Studies is one of the independent campus learning programs (MBKM) which aims to provide opportunities for students to learn and develop themselves through activities outside of lectures. However, it is still recognized as part of the course which is equivalent to 20 credits.

The program is intended for students who want to equip themselves by mastering specific and practical competencies that are sought after by the business world and the industrial world.
