The Directorate of Standardization of Traditional Medicines, Health Supplements and Cosmetics, Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM) visits the Biotechnology Laboratory of the Faculty of Animal Science, Universitas Brawijaya, Monday (5/9/2022). The aim is to review the existing facilities and research there. As well as discussing research studies on the development of probiotic products derived from milk.
Located in the meeting room on the 8th floor of Gd.V, the group of 14 people was warmly welcomed by the Dean and the laboratory administrator. Prof. Suyadi as the Dean said that currently the analysis available at the Biotechnology laboratory includes genomic and proteomic analysis, as well as research and analysis services.
After the meeting, they were invited to visit the biotechnology laboratory which is located on the 2nd floor of Gd.IV directly. There they are interested in analysis in the food sector, such as halal testing using RT PCR and identification of bacteria. (dta)
