The arrival of the holy month of Ramadan is eagerly awaited by Muslims because of its virtue. Like the month of forgiveness of sins and full of rewards, the month of being granted prayers, opening the doors of heaven, closing the gates of hell, shackling Satan, and the night of lailatul qodar. Therefore, Muslims are competing to do virtue and increase their spiritual activity.
Likewise, the Al A’raaf mosque, Faculty of Animal Science, Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) holds a seven-minute lecture (kultum) for dzuhur prayers. On the 9th day of Ramadan, this time, Wednesday (21/4/2021), Vice Dean I, Prof. Dr. M. Halim Natsir, S.Pt., MP., IPM., ASEAN Eng had the opportunity to give tauziah.
He described the first phase, which is the first ten days of Ramadan, in which Allah’s grace was revealed. So that when carrying out worship, it will feel different, lighter, and more accessible than ordinary days. Furthermore, the second phase is called maghfiroh (forgiveness) to Allah for sins during the previous 11 months. So it is fitting to increase faith in Allah by increasing the number of sunnah worship in the month of Ramadan.
Then the liberation phase from hellfire on the last ten days of Ramadan. In this final phase, every human being should end Ramadan with kindness, namely by devoting his energy and efforts to increase worship practice throughout the last ten days of Ramadan.
Halim is also reminded of the death that all living beings would experience and the grave that reflects worship practice during life.
“Land of the grave is the narrowest part of making it wide with friendship, mutual apology, and forgiveness. The land of the grave is the loneliest and darkest place, so read the Quran to illuminate and accompany you later. The grave ground is a gathering place for wild animals that disgust them, so give alms to kill them and keep them away. ” he explained (dta)
