Practitioner Guest Lecture in Animal Science Engineering Courses by Bhinuko Setrodimedjo, S.Pt, GM PT. Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk

The Faculty of Animal Science at Universitas Brawijaya recently hosted a special Guest Lecture for the Livestock Engineering Course, featuring Bhinuko Setrodimedjo, S.Pt., GM Technical Information System at PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk. as the speaker. The event was attended by students from the 2023 batch and divided into two sessions, with the first starting at 07.00 WIB and the second at 09.00 WIB.

In this guest lecture, Bhinuko Setrodimedjo provided a detailed explanation of the functions, benefits, and objectives of the Closed House Engineering in Poultry, a system that has been implemented at PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk. He also highlighted the advantages of this technique in the livestock industry, particularly in improving the efficiency and productivity of poultry farming.

The event was officially opened by Prof. M. Halim Natsir, the dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry at Universitas Brawijaya, who is also the lecturer in charge of the Livestock Engineering course. His presence underscored the importance of this session for the advancement of knowledge and practice in animal husbandry at the university.

This guest lecture provided an opportunity for students to deepen their understanding directly from an experienced industry practitioner and to grasp the real-world application of the knowledge they acquire in class. This aligns with the commitment of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry at Universitas Brawijaya to integrate theory and practice, as well as to prepare its students to face real-world challenges in the livestock industry.
