Comparing Theory of Faculty of Animal Science Students Take a Factory Tour to the Animal Feed Industry

Students of the 2020 batch of Faculty of Animal Husbandry Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) take part in a factory tour to PT. DSM Nutritional Product Manufacturing Indonesia, Wednesday (2/11/2022). Namely a visit to the livestock industry as one of the learning agendas in the Animal Feed Industry course as well as the implementation of a teaching practitioner program held by DIKTI.

They were accompanied by a lecturer interested in nutrition and animal feed, Asri Nurul Huda, M.Sc. and Yuli Frita Nuningtyas, M.Sc. According to Asri, the purpose of this activity is to increase the world knowledge of the animal feed industry, to witness firsthand the layout of the animal feed factory and the production process at PT. DSM, as well as comparing with the theory obtained during lectures.

PT DSM is known for its quality feed additive and feed supplement products among feed manufacturers and breeders in Indonesia. This factory is located in Pasuruan Industrial Estate Rembang. (dta)
