Seminar FKMB to Introduce and Motivate Entrepreneurial New Students

The Student Activity Unit (UKM) Barisan Orang Sukses (BOS) held an online seminar for the New Student Entrepreneurship Festival, Saturday (23/10/2021). The event organized by UKM in entrepreneurship of the Faculty of Animal Science Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) is intended for Fapet UB students of the 2020 batch and 20 members FKMB mentors.

The goal is to welcome the Entrepreneurial Student Program (PMW) 2022 event. It also provides insight into the world of entrepreneurship and motivates students to become entrepreneurs. The speakers who were presented to share knowledge and experiences were Meliyana Rustanti, S.Pt (the owner of Azhar Farm) and Dr. Dewi Masyithoh., SP, M.Pt (the owner of Kembang Joyo).

On that occasion, Dr. Dewi conveyed the key to entrepreneurial success in the pandemic era. Namely motivation, self-confidence, trusting customers, listening to complaints while taking opportunities, and focusing.

“Motivation can be found anywhere because motivation is like fuel, it rises when we fall. Believe in your abilities and ideas, don’t complain because successful people don’t complain, but solve other people’s complaints.” Dewi said

“Other people’s complaints are an opportunity, because the more complaints about the same problem, the business opportunities are wide open.” continued (dta)
