First Gathering BPI and BPH BEM Fapet UB as an Introduction Event

The Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Animal Science Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) held an online meeting Sunday (23/1/2022). The first gathering event invited all members of the Core Governing Body (BPI) and the Daily Management Board (BPH) for the 2022 period. The goal was to introduce the BEM and discuss the work area of ​​BEM.

BPI is a core part of BEM that functions as a systematic controller and driver of the organization. It consists of the president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, and the Central Bureau of Organizational Quality Assurance (PJMO). BEM presidents for the 2022 period are M. Zidane Fadlurrahman and Veronique Graceelli as vice presidents.

Meanwhile, BPH is a functional component of BEM hierarchically above the staff. It is assigned to be the initiator and daily controller of the ministry’s performance in its productivity in carrying out work programs so that the work program is carried out as directed and by the expected output.

The Ministries at BPH are divided into several sections, including (1) the Ministry of Home Affairs, which is tasked with maintaining organizational integrity by increasing solidarity and synergy and establishing harmonious relationships with MFIs, SMEs, and communities. (2) The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as a liaison with institutions outside the faculty, establishes communication and expands the cooperation network.

(3) The Ministry of Student Development has the task of building and developing soft and hard skills for upgrading competency students. As well as being responsible for the implementation of great day activities held at the Faculty. (4) The Ministry of Youth and Sports accommodates and facilitates student activities in youth, arts, and sports at the faculty and university level to regional and national levels.

(5) The Ministry of Social Environment is responsible for implementing the tri dharma of higher education, which focuses on environmental and social problems of the community.

(6) The Ministry of Action and Strategy Studies conducts a pro-active and comprehensive study and analysis on various issues of national and state life, including campus and student affairs issues to be taken into consideration for BEM FAPET UB in issuing policies and attitudes both in the form of agitation. or propaganda taken on behalf of the organization.

(7) Unit for the Protection of Sexual Violence and Bullying is comprehensively responsible for educational activities regarding the prevention of sexual violence and bullying and advocating for victims on various related issues within the campus and nationally. (8) Media and Information Bureau disseminates information to students through social media, pages, websites, or other media. (dta)
