Fapet UB Receives the Giraffe Award at the 76th Independence Day Commemoration

Faculty of Animal Science Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) gets the UB GIRAFFE Award, Tuesday (17/08/2021). Namely award was given by UB, where the assessment is based on the Main Performance Indicators (IKU) according to the provisions of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemdikbudristek). 

The awarding ceremony is held simultaneously as the commemoration of the 76th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Indonesia, which is held by UB online. On that occasion, Fapet won four categories, including the independent campus learning category (1st place), the category of lecturer participation in creating and matching funds (2nd place), the quality of lecturers category (3rd place), and the ratio of the number of patents (3rd place).

GIRAFFE is an acronym for Governance, Innovation, Reputation, Alumni, Faculty, Fund, and Efficiency. According to the Vice-Chancellor for Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Ir. Moh. Sasmito Djati, MS, is giving this award as an appreciation to the faculty for their achievements and hard work in maintaining and improving performance in various aspects.

Sixteen categories are assessed, namely the category of income enhancement and contribution, the student category, the category of the number of students in the student exchange program, the category of international ranking, the category of the number of students in the rising program, the category of the number of students involved in Permata Merdeka, the category of the number of students involved in the program. teaching campus, center of excellence category, competitive fund category, collaborative class category, implementation category of eight forms of MBKM, mbkm curriculum collaboration category, budget absorption, category for adding the number of professors, and doctoral improvement program category.
