Faculty of Animal Science Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) has an innovative product in the form of poultry feed additives called UB Feed. The product has been commercialized for four years which is the result of the Campus Intellectual Product Business Development program (PPUPIK) funding from the Directorate General of Higher Education for the 2018-2020 fiscal year. The development of UB Feed is done together with CV. Agro Poultry Solution, and produces a wide variety of products. Such as supplementary feed for laying hens, additional feed for broilers, and Urea Molasses Multinutrient Block (UMMB) for ruminants.
However, this time the PPUPIK Fapet UB team through the Lecturer Works (Dokar) program wants to strengthen the product. Efforts are made by cooperating with PT. The cooperation agreement has been signed by Prof. Suyadi (Dean) and John Miftah Ahmad, S.Pt (President Director), in early September 2021.
Both parties held a follow-up meeting on Monday (11/15/2021) to discuss the contents of the agreement in the form of research, training and education, community service community, as well as cooperation in the production and commercialization of products. At the meeting, Prof. M. Halim Natsir as the team leader conveyed his ability to produce feed additives in the form of probiotics, phytobiotics, and acidifiers.
