Fapet Arranges Entrepreneurship Internship Program with PT. CPI and FP

The step of the Faculty of Animal Science Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) step to produce graduates ready to use for industry and capable of entrepreneurship is to implement the Independent Learning Campus Independent learning system (MBKM) government launched.

One of the MBKM implementations carried out by Fapet UB is to create an entrepreneurship internship program in collaboration with PT. Charoen Pokphand Indonesia (PT. CPI). The advantages of this program are that the internship period is more extended, more fieldwork, and 20 credits worth of credits.

So that students can better absorb knowledge from industry and apply theory from college. As well as providing flexibility to companies in guiding students to explore the industrial world.

Implementation of the entrepreneurship internship program for the odd semester of FY. 2021/2022, PT CPI wants to cooperate with the Faculty of Agriculture (FP) UB where the activities and the internship location will be related to the agricultural business.

The plan is discussed in an online meeting between Fapet UB, PT. CPI, and FP UB, Tuesday (15/6/2021). Fapet was attended by Prof. Suyadi, Dr. Rizki Prafitri, and Dr. Dicky Tri Utama, and Dr. Damanhuri from FP.

While the PT.CPI team consisted of Andi Magdalena Siadari, SH, MH, Syafri Afriansyah, Putu Darsana (Horticulture Division), Bhinuko, Febri Cahyo, Hardi (Prima Food), M. Nuzul Fauzi (PT SMS Poultry Division), and Heri Pudyasatwa (Poultry Division of PT SMS). (dta)
