The Faculty of Animal Science, Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) won the 2023 UB Giraffe Award in five categories. Among them are ranked I for Outstanding Students, ranked II for SIPP Compliance (Research Information Systems and Community Service), ranked II for Best Service Productivity, ranked III for Most OBE Implementation Study Programs, and ranked III for Most Patents.
As well as the Information Service Unit (ULIN) award at rank V as a provider of informative public information. The award was given at the same time as the commemoration of the 78th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia which was held by UB in the Rectorate field, Thursday (17/8/2023).
The GIRAFFE Award or Governance, Innovation, Reputation, Alumni, Faculty, Fund, and Efficiency is an award given based on Key Performance Indicators (IKU) according to the provisions of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemdikbudristek).
The indicators assessed include (1) graduates directly working for less than 6 months, (2) graduates directly self-employed for less than 6 months, (3) the number of students who carry out activities outside campus, (4) the number of outstanding students, (5) the number of lecturers working off-campus, (6) the number of outstanding student supervisors, (7) the number of lecturers who have certification and competence, (8) the number of teaching practitioners on campus, (9) the number of lecturers with Doctoral qualifications, (10) the number of nationally indexed publications , (11) the number of international indexed publications, (12) the number of Intellectual Property Rights, (13) the number of Patents, (14) the number of Study Programs that carry out collaborations with PT partners QS100 by subject, (15) the number of Study Programs that carry out collaborations with non-PT Partners QS100 by subject, (16) the number of MKs using the case method and team base project, (17) the number of study programs that have received international accreditation/certification, (18) the percentage of income increase, (19) the efficiency of budget utilization, (20) the number of foreign lecturers , (21) the number of lecturers who received international awards, (22) the percentage of budget uptake, (23) the number of outbound students, (24) the number of faculty collaborations, (25) the amount of cooperation income, (26) the number of students participating in MBKM, (26) The Most Promising New Faculty.
The ULIN Award is organized by the Information and Public Relations Division of Universitas Brawijaya (DIK UB) to implement Public Information Disclosure in accordance with Law Number 14 of 2018. The goal is that each faculty focuses more on the output of public information listed on the website to be more open, transparent, and accountable.
In the assessment there are six elements, namely infrastructure, quality of information, type of information, organizational commitment, aspects of digitization, as well as goods and services. (dta)
