The steps of the Faculty of Animal Science Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) to contribute to developing higher education and business in the field of animal husbandry in Indonesia are realized through cooperation with industry and community businesses.
One of them is UD. Berline Farm, which is a company engaged in the poultry sector and is located in Ds. Maguan, Kec. Ngajum, Kab. Malang, East Java. The products produced are day old chick (DOC) super platinum village and consumptive eggs.
The cooperation paper was signed by Richard Alfontha (head of UD. Berline Farm) and Prof. Dr.Sc.Agr. Ir. Suyadi, MS., IPU.ASEAN Eng, (Dean of Fapet UB), Monday (19/04/2021). The two parties agreed on a collaborative research on the development of superior local chicken seeds and making feed.
This activity is called a matching fund, which is a tangible form of support from the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) of the Republic of Indonesia to create collaboration and strategic synergy between Higher Education Institutions (higher education institutions) with industry and community businesses.
The goal is to build the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka ecosystem as an effort to resolve various social issues, challenges in the industrial world and community businesses, as well as university problems through university partnerships with industry and community businesses. (dta)
