Universitas Brawijaya’s Faculty of Animal Science Finalizes Crucial Documents for AQAS Accreditation

Malang, June 26, 2024 – The Faculty of Animal Science at Universitas Brawijaya (FAPET UB) has recently finalized documents for the AQAS accreditation. The meeting, led by the Vice Dean of Academic Affairs, Dr. Rizkri Prafitri, Ph.D, focused on the finalization of documents to be submitted to AQAS (Agency for Quality Assurance through Accreditation of Study Programmes) in Germany.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Ani VM, Chair of the International Relations Office (IRO) at FAPET UB, Dr. Jaisy Poespitasari, MP, Dr. Yulia Frita, Dr. Irida, Dr. Asri, Dr. Marjuki as the Head of the Master of Animal Science Program, and Tono, a team member. Together, they worked on the compilation and finalization of the curriculum documents for the Master’s (S2) and Doctoral (S3) programs, as well as the handbook modules for both programs.

These documents are crucial as part of the international accreditation requirements expected to enhance the educational quality and global recognition of the programs offered by FAPET UB. All documents will be sent to Mr. Putu (PJM UB) for forwarding to AQAS.

In addition, as part of an initiative for transparency and open information, these finalized documents will also be uploaded to the postgraduate website of the Faculty of Animal Science, pascafapet.ub.ac.id, making them accessible to students, faculty, and related stakeholders.

This meeting marks a significant step for the Faculty of Animal Science at UB in their continuous effort to ensure high-quality education that meets global standards and needs with an emphasis on information openness. mt
