Faculty of Animal Science UB’s Nutrition and Animal Feed Interest Lecturers Conduct Colloquium in Anticipation of the Odd Semester 2023/2024

Malang, January 26, 2024 – Lecturers from the Nutrition and Animal Feed Interest at the Faculty of Animal Science, University of Brawijaya (UB), organized a colloquium as an effort to align perceptions and prepare a study plan for the upcoming Odd Semester 2023/2024.

In this colloquium, the lecturers discussed the Study Plan and Substantive Material of the Basic Course in Animal Nutrition and Animal Feed Ingredients. The main purpose of this activity is to ensure consistency in the delivery of course material and to enhance the quality of teaching materials provided to students.

Dr. Heli Tistiana, the Chair of the Nutrition and Animal Feed Interest, stated that the colloquium is an important platform to maintain the quality of the Teaching and Learning Process (TLP) and align the learning outcomes at both the Program and Course levels. She also emphasized the need to implement the colloquium forum for other courses to ensure that the TLP can run optimally.

The lecturers involved in this activity welcomed the colloquium initiative as a means to share knowledge and experiences. They hope that such activities can be integrated into the academic schedule, supporting the development of knowledge and technology in the field of Nutrition and Animal Feed.

With the regular conduct of colloquia, there is an expectation of developing high-quality and relevant course content in line with the latest developments in the field of Nutrition and Animal Feed. This is anticipated to have a positive impact on improving students’ understanding and skills in facing the evolving challenges of the animal husbandry industry. (MT)
