Faculty of Animal Science Lecturers Conduct Preliminary Survey to Prepare for IB Counseling and Training Program

Lecturers from the Faculty of Animal Science, Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) who are members of the community service team visited Bantur District, Malang Regency. They consisted of Eko Nugroho, S.Pt., M.Sc., Ph.D., Aulia Puspita Anugra Yekti, S.Pt., MP., M.Sc., Dr. Ir. Nanang Febrianto, S.Pt., MP., and Tina Sri Purwanti, SP., MP., MBA., Ph.D.

This is in the context of a preliminary survey to prepare for an extension and training program related to Artificial Insemination (AI) and reproductive problems in dairy cows. The goal is to collect information about the constraints experienced by dairy farmers. So that the team will provide the right solutions and strategies.

The planned training program will be conducted in August 2023, the target is dairy farmers in Bantur Village, Bantur District, Malang Regency, East Java. Eko Nugroho, Ph.D. as the team leader delivered via pThis training program is expected to improve the performance of farmers, by implementing breeder behavior towards reproductive handling measures in dairy cows. The hope is to increase milk production in each farmer’s dairy cows. (tim/dta)
