Fapet UB Milk Processing Expert Lecturer Passed Away

The Faculty of Animal Science, Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) again lost its best son, namely a lecturer on behalf of Dr.Ir. Purwadi, MS. He breathed his last at the age of 63, Tuesday (2/5/2023) at 3.30 am. Then buried in the UB cemetery which is located in Donowarih Karangploso Village at 10.30 am.

The man who was born in Nganjuk has devoted himself to the Faculty of Animal Science UB since 1986 as a candidate for Civil Servants. Then two years later, on August 1, 1988, he was appointed as a Civil Servant class III/a.

Purwadi is a lecturer department in Animal Product Technology who is an expert in Milk, Cheese and Yogurt Processing Science and Technology. Through his skills in processing milk he once earned the Science and Technology Index (SINTA) Award 2019, category of intellectual property in the field of patents. The most productive inventor is ranked I. The award is given by Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Kemenristekdikti) in order to appreciate and encourage the increase of international scientific publications and journals.
