AQAS Accreditation Visitation Closing Ceremony

Closing ceremony accreditation certificate Agency for Quality Assurance through the Accreditation of Study Programmes (AQAS) at the Faculty of Animal Science, Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) was held on Thursday (2/2/2023). The activity was held at the Rectorate and led by UB Rector, Prof. Widodo.

The team of assessors on duty included Prof. Dr. med. vet. abel. Helen Louton (University of Rostock Germany), Prof. Dr. Anjas Asmara (Universiti Putra Malaysia), Dr. med. vet. Tanja Dillenburger (University of Hohenheim Germany), Damon Mohebbi (University of Düsseldorf/Germany),Dr. SarahTypechewski, and Alexandre Wipf.

As the AQAS Consultants, Dr. Sarah explained that in general, the team appreciates the facilities and infrastructure owned by the Faculty of Animal Science to support teaching and learning activities both during the pandemic and post-pandemic. Infrastructure to support learning activities, such as laboratories, reading rooms, IT studios, administration rooms, student activity rooms, gazebos, and canteens.

Meanwhile Prof. V.M. Ani Nurgiartiningsih as the coordinator of the preparation of the AQAS document hopes that Fapet can qualify and obtain this international accreditation certificate based in Germany. So as to gain recognition that the Masters Program and Doctoral Program in Animal Sciences have qualified graduates according to international standards. (dta)
