Create a Smart Cage Eco Friendly Fapet UB Students Win an Award in Malaysia

Students from the Faculty of Animal Science Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) get a gold medal and best young investor award in the International Invention, Innovation & Technology Exhibition (ITEX) event. consisting of Dimas Teguh prasetiyo, Umi Lailasari, Berliana Arifa Noer Shodiq, Rifaldi Fadilah, and Muhammad Alfan Nurdin.

Together with the supervisor Dr. Abdul Manab, S.Pt., MP they carried out their work in the field of Agrocomplex Based on Eco Friendly Smart Cage System Powered By Cattle Waste & Android As The 4.0. According to Dimas, the ideas came from the problem of climate change and the increase in Indonesia’s population.

“The increasing number of people will increase the energy demand as well. So it is necessary to implement a transition to the use of non-renewable energy with environmentally friendly New and Renewable Energy (EBT). Dimas explained

, “We hope that this idea will be able to advance the Indonesian agriculture and animal husbandry sector.” he said

ITEX is an international level technological invention and innovation exhibition which is attended by more than 23 countries. The event was organized by the Malaysian Invention and Design Society (MINDS) and took place at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center (KLCC), Thursday-Friday (26-27/5/2022). (dta)
