BOS FAPETUB Successfully Organizes New Student Entrepreneurship Food Festival 2023

Malang, December 5, 2023 – In an effort to foster entrepreneurship spirit among students, the Student Activity Unit (UKM) Barisan Orang Sukses successfully organized the New Student Entrepreneurship Food Festival (FKMB) 2023 at Building 2 of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Universitas Brawijaya. The event took place on Sunday, December 5, 2023, from 09:00 to 13:00 WIB, involving the participation of 98 students from the new intake.

The event commenced with a warm welcome from the Chief Organizer, expressing gratitude for the participants and encouraging them to utilize the event as a platform for developing creativity and entrepreneurship. The Director of Barisan Orang Sukses (BOS) also delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of developing entrepreneurial skills as an integral part of shaping independent and creative students.

The address by the Vice Dean 3, Dr. Eko Widodo, reflected profound conceptual ideas regarding the role of entrepreneurship in shaping the character of students. He provided motivation and inspiration to the participants to explore their potential and talents in the field of entrepreneurship.

Subsequently, the event moved into the inauguration phase of the FKMB Food Festival by university officials in attendance. The bazaar showcasing various culinary delights and creative student products served not only as a visual attraction but also as a medium for implementing the entrepreneurship concept advocated by the event.

The pinnacle of the event was reached during the sharing session, where participants shared their experiences, challenges, and successes in developing their ventures. Aligned with the scientific paradigm, this session opened opportunities for the development of applied knowledge and in-depth understanding of entrepreneurial practices among students.

The success of the New Student Entrepreneurship Food Festival 2023 indicates the positive initiative of the event organizers in strengthening the spirit and awareness of entrepreneurship in the academic environment. The hope is that this momentum will provide continuous impetus for the development of student entrepreneurship at Universitas Brawijaya.
