Together with RG AFENUE, UB Faculty of Animal Husbandry Lecturers Publish Journal Articles on Poultry Science

Lecturer of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB),Danung Nur Adli, M.Sc. conduct collaborative research and publication with research groups The Animal Feed and Nutrition Modelling  (AFENUE) Bogor Agricultural University (IPB). Research that they perform is titled “A meta-analysis of the effects of clay mineral supplementation on alkaline phosphatase, broiler health, and performance”.

Journal aboutThe use of meta-analysis by clay minerals in broilers has been published in international journals in the field poultry science. Danung says in the article reports that according to it, clay-based poison binders are generally declared safe byEuropean Commission. The use of clay in poultry feed also serves to improve flowability, prevent caking, and improve pellet quality. However, so far none has been approved byFood and Drug Administration (FDA) as prevention or treatment of aflatoxin. (dta)
