Faculty of Animal Science, Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) donated 500 catfish seeds as a form of participation in the Braholo River ecosystem rehabilitation program, Mulyo Agung Village, Dau District, Malang Regency, Saturday (3/6/2023). The handover was carried out in the courtyard of the Sengkaling Congregation Jawi Wetan Christian Church (GKJW) by Dhimaz Sectio Caecaria, S.E.,M.M. (Head of General and Asset Subdivision) to Martyr Hikmantya., S.Pt. (Chief of the implementation of the distribution of fish seeds).
Spreading fish seeds in the rivers around GKJW Sengkaling is an annual program that has been carried out for the last five years. The aim is as an effort to preserve the environment and rehabilitate the river ecosystem.
Martyr said that the residents of Sengkaling Village are trying hard to maintain cleanliness and the ecosystem, especially the Braholo River. Because the river is a favorite location for fishing by local residents.
