BEM and DPM held an Open Debate in the UB Faculty of Animal Sciency

Today, the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Brawijaya University witnessed an Open Debate between two candidates competing to become Chair of the Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry and seven candidates for the Student Representative Council. This debate is part of a series of student general elections that will elect new leaders for the next term.

In an enthusiastic atmosphere, the debate was held in the main courtyard of the UB Faculty of Animal Sciency and was attended by hundreds of students at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry. Chairman of the Student Representative Council, Ikhsan, said that this Open Debate was a means for candidates to present their vision, mission, find out their work programs, as well as find out their academic abilities and the ability to convey their ideas and ideas to students.

This Open Debate is the eighth stage of the BEM and DPM selection process at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry. Starting with Briefing (Socialization), Pre-Registration, Taking Forms, Returning Forms, Announcement of Temporary Candidate List, Revision and Resignation, Announcement of Permanent Candidate List, FNP Briefing, and Peaceful Debate

 also involves a question and answer session from the students present, where each candidate must answer questions clearly and convincingly. Questions from students covered issues such as student participation in extracurricular activities, improving relationships between students and lecturers.

After a long and passionate debate, the students of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry now have a clearer picture of the vision and mission of each candidate. The general election will be held on November 24 2023, where each student has the right to vote to choose the candidate they consider most suitable to lead the BEM and DPM of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry.
