Awarding Ceremony of Scientific Writing Competition Innovation of Animal Science Competition (IASC) IX

The series of scientific writing competition events of Innovation of Animal Science Competition (IASC) IX entered the winner announcement session, Sunday (26/6/2022). The activity is again carried out online. Winners are divided into two categories, namely student and student categories. And the winner based on the sub-theme of the competition for the student category.

The overall winners for the student category were Muhammad Brilian Maulana (SMA Negeri 1 Teras) first place, Wilda Aulia Zakiyyatus Sa’adah (MAN 2 Ponorogo) second place, and Iffana Alayya Novida (MAN 2 Kudus) third place. Then the first runner-up was given to Drajat Rendy Wibowo (MAN 1 Jembrana), the second runner-up was Desty Ayu Pratiwi (MAN 2 Ponorogo), and the best presentation and best poster went to Brilian Maulana (SMA Negeri 1 Teras).

Meanwhile, the overall winner for the student category is given to Wahyu Catur Nugroho (UB) as the first winner, Fajrul Fallaah hidayatulloh (UB) as the second winner, and Syeftyan Muhammad Ali Hamami (UB) as the third winner.

Meanwhile, the winners of the sub-theme technology production are participants from UB consisting of Fajrul Fallaah hidayatulloh (1st place), Muhammad Nur Arifin (2nd place), and Moh. Rifqi Sabilul Haq (3rd place). The winners of the animal nutrition sub-theme included Wanda Hamida from the University of Jember (1st place), Indah Nurfadilah from Airlangga University (2nd place), and Muhammad Hasyim Anta Maulana from Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University (3rd place).

The winner of the social economic sub theme was given to Wahyu Catur Nugroho from Brawijaya University (1st place), Syeftyan Muhammad Ali Hamami from Brawijaya University (2nd place), and Mohammad Imania Ary Agusta from Jember University (3rd place). Then for the best video presentation and best poster, Mohammad Imania Ary Agusta won from the University of Jember.

The chief executive of Althaf Fikar Harik Nusantara, congratulated all the finalists who became champions. He hopes that the winners will not be complacent and can produce other innovative works in the future.

IASC is a competition for students and university students that accommodates research results and contributes creative and innovative thinking through writing competitions. This event is routinely held every year by a scientific student group unit at the Faculty of Animal Science Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) called the Student Scientific Group (KIM).

2022 is the ninth year that carries the theme of Innovation and Strategy Through Generation Z’s Contribution in Livestock Integration to Realize SDGs 2045. The implementation of IASC IX 2022 is not over yet, there are still international seminar activities that will be held in the near future. (dta)
