Gerakan Minum Susu Bersama Buka Kegiatan PKK MABA 2016 Fapet UB

The opening of Campus Life Introduction for Fresher (Pengenalan Kehidupan Kampus Mahasiswa Baru/PK2Maba) at Faculty of Animal Husbandry University of Brawijaya was marked with participants’ attribute embedding by the Dean, and also beating gongs. As a farming institution, Faculty of Animal Husbandry also held a movement of drinking milk together. Milk is a farming product which is if regularly consumed could increase intelligent and nutrition improvement. Through the event, was hopefully can sensitize students as a ranch people on the importance of milk consuming.
PK2Maba at Faculty of Animal Husbandry year of 2016 was held for two days including Wednesday-Thursday (31/Aug-1/Sep/2016) and followed by 777 fresher. The event that organized at parking area of building I was used Nila Ambara as an emblem. Nila Ambara is a horse owned by Patih Ronggo Lawe from Majapahit Kingdom which is benign, obedient to its master, intelligent, agile and brave. Thus the emblem is poured in a theme “Harmonization to collaborate in forming fresher who is religious, intellectual, nationalist, having high moral standards and cultured”.
Hopefully, fresher of Faculty of Animal Husbandry have strong character as illustrated in Nila Ambara horse.
In his remarks, the Dean Prof. Dr.Agr.Sc. Ir. Suyadi, MS delivered that becoming a student at Faculty of Animal Husbandry is the right choice. Animal Husbandry has an important meaning for health and nutrition community fulfillment, since 1 kilogram of animal protein cannot be altered with another. According to Suyadi, if Indonesia wants to advance its people life, an initial step that must be taken is by fulfillment of nutritional adequacy through animal protein meals. He also expected that fresher of Faculty of Animal Husbandry can improve Indonesian farming.
This year PK2Maba also invited all professors at Faculty of Animal Husbandry that recently counted 15 ones. This regard was intended to make fresher proud of having qualified lecturer and also motivated to become a scientist and researcher. [dita/trans. Denok]
