The Faculty of Animal Science at Brawijaya University (FAPET UB) and Angel Yeast Singapore Pte Ltd Forge Strategic Collaboration in Biotechnology Development

The Faculty of Animal Science, Brawijaya University (Fapet UB), and Angel Yeast Singapore Pte Ltd have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at enhancing collaboration in various fields, marked by Fapet UB Dean, Prof. Dr. Ir. M. Halim Natsir, S.Pt., MP., IPM., ASEAN Eng., and Wan Boon Keng, Regional Manager of Angel Yeast Singapore Pte Ltd.

Angel Yeast Singapore Pte Ltd, a global biotechnology company known since its establishment in 1986, has played a key role in developing natural ingredient solutions for the food & beverage, nutritional, and biotechnology industries. With a clear mission, “Developing biotechnology, innovating for a healthy life,” Angel Yeast focuses on improving lifestyles while living in harmony with nature.

This collaboration includes several agreements, including:

1. Research collaboration, enabling both parties to conduct research aimed at developing new knowledge and technologies in the field of biotechnology.
2. Joint seminars, providing a platform for experts and practitioners from both institutions to exchange information, experiences, and the latest knowledge in the industry and biotechnology.
3. Visiting lecturer activities, where experts from Angel Yeast Singapore Pte Ltd will give guest lectures at Fapet UB to share their practical knowledge and experiences with students and faculty members.
4. Student internships, providing opportunities for Fapet UB students to gain direct work experience at Angel Yeast Singapore Pte Ltd, thus expanding their knowledge and skills in the industry and biotechnology.
5. Field Work Practices (PKL), allowing Fapet UB students to apply the knowledge and skills they have learned in class to real-world working environments at Angel Yeast Singapore Pte Ltd.
