Yulia Frita Nuningtyas, S.Pt., M.Sc., MP., Successfully Earns Doctoral Degree After Defending Dissertation at Post Graduate Program of FAPET, Universitas Brawijaya

Malang – In a remarkable academic achievement, Yulia Frita Nuningtyas, S.Pt., M.Sc., MP., has successfully defended her dissertation and earned her Doctoral degree from the Postgraduate Program at the Faculty of Animal Science, Universitas Brawijaya. The dissertation defense, which lasted for two hours, was chaired by Prof. Dr. Ir. M. Halim Natsir, S.Pt., MP., IPM., ASEAN Eng., who also served as the promoter.

The comprehensive examination panel included Co-Promoter 1 Prof. Dr. Aulanni’am, drh., DES., from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Universitas Brawijaya, and Co-Promoter 2 Prof. Dr. Ir. Osfar Sjofjan, M.Sc., IPU., ASEAN Eng., from the Faculty of Animal Science at Universitas Brawijaya. The examination committee was further strengthened with the presence of Examiner 1 Dr. Ir. Eko Widodo, M.Agr.Sc., from the Faculty of Animal Science, Examiner 2 Prof. Dr. Ir. Veronica Margareta Ani Nurgiartiningsih, M.Sc., also from the Faculty of Animal Science, Examiner 3 Dr. Ir. Agus Susilo, S.Pt., MP., IPM., ASEAN Eng., from the Faculty of Animal Science, and an external examiner from outside Universitas Brawijaya, Prof. Dr. Ir. Zuprizal, DEA., IPU., ASEAN Eng., from the Faculty of Animal Science at Universitas Gadjah Mada.

Dr. Yulia’s dissertation, titled “Identification of Growth Genes in Crossbred Chickens Fed Different Protein Level Diets through Transcriptomic Profile Analysis,” presents a significant contribution to the field of animal genetics and nutrition. Her research offers new insights into how diet influences genetic expression related to growth in chickens, potentially leading to more efficient and sustainable poultry farming practices.

This successful defense marks the culmination of Dr. Yulia’s rigorous academic journey and stands as a testament to her hard work, dedication, and contribution to the field of animal science.
