The Inauguration of Prof. Hari Dwi Utami, Professor of Livestock Economics

Hari Dwi Utami, MS., M.AppL.Sc., Ph.D., IPM., ASEAN Eng, was officially inaugurated as the 35th Professor of the Faculty of Animal Science at the Universitas Brawijaya. Born in Kediri on March 11, 1961, Prof. Hari Dwi Utami has made outstanding contributions to the development of livestock economics.

The inauguration ceremony took place in an open senate session held at Samantha Krida, Universitas Brawijaya, attended by academics, students, and relevant stakeholders. Prof. Hari Dwi Utami delivered a scientific oration titled “Smart Strategies to Enhance Supply Chain Management Resilience of Processed Milk UMKM in the Digital Era.”

In his oration, Prof. Hari Dwi Utami highlighted the importance of intelligent strategies in facing dynamic changes in the digital era, especially in the context of UMKM processed milk products. He shared profound thoughts on proactive steps that can be taken to enhance the supply chain management resilience of UMKM, considering the increasingly competitive nature of the food industry. He emphasized that speed in decision-making, operational efficiency, responsiveness to market changes, the utilization of digital technology, adaptability to industry trends, and synergy among supply chain elements are key aspects that need attention for UMKM processed milk products.
