The Faculty of Animal Husbandry and PT Kunci Walet Indonesia officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Monday, 13 November 2023, opening the door for close collaboration in efforts to improve quality and innovation in the livestock sector.
The Faculty of Animal Husbandry and the Indonesian Walet Colony confirmed their commitment to synergize in holding joint seminars, implementing guest lecturer activities, student internships, field work practices and Swallow Cultivation through the signing of the MOU today.
Prof. Dr. Ir. Muhammad Halim Natsir, S.Pt., MP., IPM.ASEAN Eng, Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry stated, “expressing enthusiasm, “This collaboration opens the door for innovative research and knowledge exchange that will help optimize best practices in animal husbandry. We are confident that this partnership will have a positive impact on the livestock industry.”
Karl Wenas, Director of PT Walet Kunci Indonesia, welcomed this collaboration, saying, “This MOU is a very positive step towards renewing the livestock industry. Collaboration between academic institutions and practical institutions is very important to achieve sustainable progress.”
Both parties believe that this collaboration will have a positive impact on improving the quality of education, innovation in the livestock sector, and community empowerment. (AEO).
