Faculty of Animal Husbandry UB held a Training Workshop on Making RPS, Rubrics and Portfolios Based on Outcome Based Education (OBE)

In an effort to improve the quality of education, Faculty of Animal Husbandry UB held a Training Workshop on Making RPS, Rubrics and Portfolios Based on Outcome Based Education (OBE) on Thursday, November 2 2023. This workshop discusses graduate profiles, Learning Achievements (CPL), Study Materials and Courses, and Course Learning Achievement (CPMK). Presenting speakers Prof.Dr.Eng. Widya Wijayanti, ST., MT. from the Faculty of Engineering. This workshop aims to identify and prepare RPS appropriately and to improve the quality of teaching and learning.

Attended by the leadership ranks starting from the Dean of Faculty of Animal Husbandry UB, Prof. Dr. Ir. Muhammad Halim Natsir, S.Pt.,MP.,IPM.ASEAN Eng, Ir.Rizki Prafitri, S.Pt.,MA.,Ph.D as Deputy Dean I, Dr. Ir. Agus Susilo, S.Pt., MP., IPM.ASEAN Eng., as Deputy Dean II, Dr.Ir. Eko Widodo, M.Agr.Sc., M.Sc., as Deputy Dean III, KTU, Head of Undergraduate, Masters, Doctoral Study Programs as well as lecturers and educational staff within the Faculty of Animal Husbandry UB.

Workshop participants are trained to prepare Semester Learning Plans (RPS) which contain detailed explanations of learning objectives, achievement indicators, as well as measurable and targeted evaluation strategies. This is an important step in OBE, which places the focus on the expected outcomes of the learning process.

Apart from RPS, participants are also equipped with skills in compiling clear and objective assessment rubrics to measure achievement of learning objectives. It is hoped that this will provide more detailed guidance for students in understanding the assessment criteria.

The Workshop on Creating Outcome-Based Education (OBE) RPS, Rubrics and Portfolios marked an important step in efforts to improve the quality of education and teaching at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry with a focus on achieving clear and measurable learning outcomes. It is hoped that this kind of initiative can become a milestone for positive change in the world of education. (AEO)
