Lecturer at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB), Aulia Puspita Anugra Yekti, S.Pt, MP, M.Sc, carried out an Open Dissertation Examination, Tuesday 24 October 2024 which led to her obtaining the title of Doctor of Animal Science (Dr.) and increasing the number of Doctoral Lecturers in Faculty of Animal Husbandry UB.
The exam was carried out directly in the main courtroom, lt. 6 Faculty of Animal Husbandry UB led byby the chairman of the session Prof. Lilik Eka Radiati as Head of the Animal Science Doctoral Study Program. Promoter and Co. promoters consisting of Prof. Trinil Susilawati (Fapet UB), Prof. Gatot Ciptadi (Fapet UB), and Prof. Sri Rahayu (FMIPA UB). As well as the examiner team including Prof. Nurul Isnaini (Fapet UB), Prof. Sri Wahjuningsih (Fapet UB), Prof. Imam Mustofa (Airlangga University), and Prof. Sutiman (Fapet UB).
Aulia is a Lecturer with an interest in Animal Reproduction and Breeding (RPT) and is Faculty of Animal Husbandry UB alumni in the bachelor’s and master’s double degree programs at National Chiayi University, Taiwan. Then continue the 2020 even semester livestock science doctoral program.
Aulia conducted research on double-dose artificial insemination using Percoll density centrifuged sexing semen in Holstein Frisian Frisian cows to get offspring with the desired sex, namely females as replacement stock for dairy cows. This research will continue in collaboration with the Singosari Center for Artificial Insemination (BBIB) which produces sexing semen as a form of commitment to realizing an increase in the population of female dairy cattle, especially after the case of Foot and Mouth Disease (AEO).
