Visiting Professor 3 in 1 Guest Lecture by Mrs. Vena Kristiyanti Surya, SPt. from PT. Indochem Rays

On Thursday, October 5 2023, the Faculty of Animal Husbandry held a guest lecture in the context of “Visiting Professor 3 in 1” with the main speaker, Mrs. Vena Kristiyanti Surya, SPt., a leading practitioner from PT. Indochem Rays. This event was held in Building 5, Floor 5, Faculty of Animal Husbandry at 14.00 WIB.

This guest lecture was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Prof. Dr. Ir. Muhammad Halim Natsir, SPt., MP., IPU., ASEAN Eng., who is also one of the well-known researchers in the field of animal husbandry in Indonesia. This event attracted the attention of a number of students, lecturers and livestock practitioners who attended in significant numbers.

The main theme discussed in this guest lecture is “Feed Manipulation to Improve Broiler Chicken Performance.” In her lecture, Mrs. Vena Kristiyanti Surya brought her extensive experience and knowledge in the animal feed industry, especially in the context of manipulating broiler chicken feed. He shared insights about various techniques and strategies that can be used to optimize broiler chicken feed, increase growth and productivity, and ensure optimal health and quality of production results.

Guest lecture participants had the opportunity to ask Mrs. Vena Kristiyanti Surya directly about the topics discussed, and active discussions took place during the question and answer session. This provides an opportunity for participants to gain deeper insight into the key role of feed manipulation in the broiler chicken farming industry.

This guest lecture “Visiting Professor 3 in 1” is one of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry’s efforts to increase the understanding and knowledge of students and staff about the latest developments in the animal husbandry industry.
